oneye is a takeover of the legacy series 1 from the eyeos project. This new project is powered by the community around the web desktop eyeos 1.
We feel responsible for further development of eyeos 1.9 featured as oneye 0.8.x.
In addition new technologies get combined and a totally new designed framework will be released as oneye 0.9. We estimate a first development preview at the end of 2011.
Licensing
oneye 0.8 will be released under the terms of the Affero General Public License, version 3 and additional conditions. The following list sums up the most important points of the licensing.
- oneye is released as open source software. You can use and modify it for free.
- Software written for oneye can have any license, but need to be released to the oneye community or privately to the oneye team via mail@lars-sh.de.
- Modifications of the oneye system components need to be released to the oneye team, too.
Creators of closed source software for oneye are asked to donate.
